6.Alloys of aluminum plate for tank cylinder
a. 5454 aluminum sheet is of good corrosion resistance, which was used in tank trucks in the early 1950s. 5083(Europe), 5454(USA) and 5182 are currently commonly used aluminum alloys for making tank cylinder. The non-flammable properties of aluminum can improve safety in the case of vehicle collision.
b. 5182 aluminum sheet is specially developed for the storage and transportation of dangerous goods. It meets the latest ADR (Agreement for the Transport of Dangerous Goods on Highway) regulations.
When making tanks with a diameter less than 1.8 meters, the minimum thickness can be 4mm; When the tank diameter is larger than 1.8 meter, the minimum thickness of 5182 aluminum sheet can be 5mm.

7. aluminum plate for tanker bulkhead
a. 5754 aluminum plate is of medium strength, good corrosion resistance, weldability and easy processing and forming. Different tempers of 5754 aluminum sheets are the main materials used in the automobile and fuel tanker manufacturing industry.
b. 5182 aluminum plate is a high-quality aluminum alloy produced by heat treatment and pre-stretching process. The advantage is that it has good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening, low plasticity during cold work hardening, good corrosion resistance and good weldability.
c. 5083-O temper is also often used as the aluminum sheet for tankers bulkhead. The main alloying element is magnesium. The tensile strength is between 290-345Mpa and the yield strength is between 145-283Mpa.
