5182 O oil tanker aluminum plate to Indonesia

We exported a 40 foot large frame cabinet 5182 O aluminum plate to Indonesia last week.

The customer is used to make oil tankers and LPG transport tankers. The commonly used thicknesses are 5.0mm, 7.0mm, and widths range from 2000mm to 2400mm.
5182 O aluminum plate refers to a specific type of aluminum alloy and temper.
Alloy: 5182 is a high magnesium alloy primarily used in sheet and plate form. It offers good strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability, making it suitable for various applications, including automotive parts, packaging, and marine structures.
Temper: The “O” designation indicates the temper of the aluminum, which stands for annealed. In the annealed condition, the aluminum is fully soft and has its maximum ductility. This makes it easier to form and shape without cracking.
