5454 aluminum plate offers thicknesses ranging from 0.15 to 600mm, widths from 20 to 2650mm, and lengths from 500 to 16000mm. Dimensional tolerances are strictly controlled, for example, within ±0.03mm for thicknesses between 0.5 and 1.0mm, ±2mm for widths ≤1000mm, and ±5mm for lengths generally.

Material Properties: A Balance of Corrosion Resistance and Strength

5454 aluminum sheet’s primary alloying elements are magnesium (2.4%-3.0%), with small amounts of manganese (0.50%-1.0%), silicon, and copper. It offers outstanding performance advantages:

Corrosion Resistance: As a typical rust-resistant aluminum, the passivation film formed on its surface effectively withstands the high-salt, high-humidity environment of the marine atmosphere. Its corrosion resistance remains excellent even in areas of full seawater immersion, making it suitable for the manufacture of pipelines subject to long-term immersion in seawater.

Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥215 MPa, yield strength ≥85 MPa, and elongation ≥10%. Compared to 5052 aluminum sheet, its strength is approximately 20% higher while maintaining excellent ductility and processability.

Excellent welding and processing properties: High strength, excellent sealing, and resistance to machining cracks.
