Canada 5052 aluminum sheet plate manufacturer
The Canada 5052 aluminum sheet plate belongs to the 5 series alloy, with magnesium and silicon as the main alloying elements. It exhibits moderate strength, excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and good oxidation resistance. Widely used in industrial structural components requiring strength and corrosion resistance, such as manufacturing trucks, tower buildings, ships, trams, and rail vehicles. Also known as almg2.5, indicating a magnesium content of approximately 2.5% (ranging between 2.2-2.6), it boasts low density (2.68), high strength, and excellent machinability, making it suitable for bending, stamping, stretching, and other processing techniques. The temper of 5052 aluminum plate varies depending on annealing times and processes, resulting in multiple tempers. Different tempers exhibit varying hardness and machinability performances.
Canada 5052 aluminum sheet plate is a popular aluminum alloy plate known for its excellent corrosion resistance. It is available in various specifications, including 5052 aluminum thin plate, 5052 aluminum medium and thick plate, and 5052 aluminum thick plate. Commonly used tempers include 5052-O, 5052-H112, 5052-H32, and 5052-H34. The processing thickness ranges from 0.2mm to 600mm, and customizations are available based on customer requirements. We maintain a large inventory of specifications year-round, ranging from 1.0mm to 5.0mm, such as 1250*2500mm. For inquiries, please don’t hesitate to contact our team of aluminum sales experts.
Canada 5052-H32 aluminum sheet plate
The 5052-H32 aluminum plate is the most commonly used temper of this alloy, offering high fatigue strength, excellent cold workability, high plasticity, good weldability, impressive anodizing effect, and corrosion resistance.
Performance of the 5052 aluminum plate: In the H32 temper, it exhibits excellent bending performance, capable of bending up to 90 degrees. Its tensile strength is approximately 220 MPa, with an elongation of around 10%. The plate also boasts good hardness, nearly 3-4 times that of pure aluminum, making it suitable for hardware products requiring high hardness and strength. For the 5052-H112 aluminum plate, the hardness can reach around 50-60HB, featuring excellent lathe and milling machine processing performance. It is a preferred product in the mechanical parts processing industry, although its hardness may be lower than that of the 6061 aluminum plate.
Applications: Vehicle skins, automobile engine outer panels, passenger car trunk panels, passenger car anti-skid decorative panels, automobile fuel tank aluminum plates, etc.
Canada 5052-O aluminum sheet plate
5052-O aluminum sheet plate offers distinct advantages compared to other tempers. With softer hardness and higher elongation, it is particularly suitable for drawing processing. This alloy is easy to stretch and oxidize, exhibiting high plasticity and corrosion resistance. While it cannot be strengthened through heat treatment, it demonstrates good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening and lower plasticity during cold work hardening. Additionally, it boasts excellent weldability and produces a favorable anodizing effect.
Applications for 5052-O aluminum sheet plate include mechanical stamping parts, stretched aluminum plates, metal casings, automotive components, such as brake discs and dust covers, and more.
Canada 5052-H34 aluminum sheet plate
The 5052-H34 aluminum plate is utilized for components that require excellent formability and corrosion resistance, along with high fatigue strength, good weldability, and moderate static load capacity. Unlike some alloys, it cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. The chemical composition of the 5052 alloy closely resembles that of the 5A02 alloy, and its properties are essentially identical to those of 5A02. The 5052-H34 aluminum sheet exhibits high plasticity, low strength, good corrosion resistance, and weldability, though it has poor machinability in its annealed state.
Applications: automotive roofs, materials for automotive fuel tanks, automotive components, etc.
Canada 5052-H24 aluminum sheet plate
5052-H24 aluminum sheet plate is known for its softer hardness and excellent weldability. It is easy to stretch and oxidize, and exhibits high plasticity and corrosion resistance. Unlike some aluminum alloys, it cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. However, it maintains good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening and shows lower plasticity during cold work hardening.
Application-wise, this aluminum plate is predominantly used in oxidized materials, stamped parts, automotive aluminum plates, fuel tanks, electrical appliance casings, high-end decoration, and other similar applications.
